2. Fixed Term Contract position (6 months)

Job purpose: The successful candidate will be someone who delights to talk to clients over the telephone, building excellent relationships with them based on trust and a first class understanding of their needs. The role involves handling incoming telephone enquiries concerning businesses for sale and undertaking expansive discussions to ascertain their needs with more clarity in order to sell a business that is for sale and convey the benefits of other services the Company offers.
The role also involves pro-active telephoning to bring relevant businesses for sale to the attention of appropriate registered buyers. The role can also involve numerous office responsibilities from time to time.
The successful candidate will be accustomed and comfortable working to targets and be able to demonstrate success in this way.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
1. Answer incoming telephone calls and e-mail enquiries, within a sales team, and satisfying customer needs
2. Understanding and meeting customer needs by engaging in expansive discussions and highlighting business for sale that meet their requirements
3. Arrange viewings for interested clients by liaising with vendors and registered buyers accordingly
4. Obtaining feedback on potential buyer viewings and providing feedback to vendors
5. Liaising with vendors in order to provide financial information to buyers with appropriate follow up
6. Persuading potential buyers to meet face to face with our business consultants in order that we can understand their needs and meet them effectively
7. Making full use of our client database in managing contacts and keeping accurate records of contacts
8. Undertaking contact programmes to pro-actively market businesses for sale
9. Achieve targets and objectives set
10. Undertake various office tasks as required to assist the overall business
Person profile
Personality: Self-driven with high energy, results-oriented with a positive outlook and a clear focus on high quality customer service. Mature, credible, and comfortable in building customer relationships over the telephone based on trust and first class understanding of their needs. Reliable, tolerant, and determined. Excellent verbal communicator, able to see things from the other person's point of view. Well presented and businesslike. Comfortable in carrying responsibility and accountability to reach specified targets. Able to get on with others and be a team-player.
Specific Job Skills: Able to communicate well and motivate via the telephone.
Computer skills: Must be adept in use of MS Outlook and have good general computer skills.
Literacy and Numeracy: Good knowledge of English language both written and verbal. It is preferable for the candidate to be familiar with profit and loss accounts and basic business finance, e.g., gross margin percentages and calculations, but not essential as training will be given.
Business and Selling Skills: Must be a good face-to-face and telephone communicator. Able to demonstrate success in a sales environment, preferably including a telephone environment.
Salary Range
· £14 – 18,000 per annum, depending on experience

· Permanent position
· 6 month Fixed term Contract (with the possibility, but not guarantee, of a permanent role at the end of term)
Work Hours
· Monday – Friday 9am – 6pm with 1 hour lunch
· Saturday 9:30am – 12:30pm (on a rotation basis)
· Average working week 41.5 hours
